FAQ / Tips & Tricks
FAQ - What happens if my device can’t be fixed?
If your device can’t be fixed, then I offer a no fix no fee policy. This means that if you have already pre paid, you will receive a full refund and have your device returned to you in the same state that it was brought in.
FAQ - I don’t know what the cause of my problems are on my device, what do I do?
Across all devices, I offer free diagnostics to help you determine the problem.
FAQ - How long do repairs usually take?
Majority of repairs can be done within the same day, usually within a couple hours. This will be confirmed when the booking is made.
FAQ - Where can I find you?
At the moment, I do not have a store. However I offer a collection and drop off service to your home, work or where ever you may be. There is a slight extra charge for this which varies depending on the distance. Or you can drop your device off to me at an agreed upon location.
FAQ - Will I lose all of my data after the repair?
No. When I do repairs, I do not need to wipe your device. It is just a straight part swap.
However, there are some instances that do require a phone to be wiped. If it came down to this, you would be contacted straight away to confirm if this is something you would want to go ahead with. Wiping a device is an absolute last case option.
FAQ - Do you offer a warranty?
YES! I offer 12 months warranty with all repairs I do. The warranty is there to cover any manufacturing faults with the parts. If the part is damaged or been subject to liquid, I cannot cover this under your warranty.
FAQ - I want to claim on my warranty, how do I do this?
Best way is to contact me and we can arrange a date and time to me to be able to check the device over. Before I am able to go through with the claim for your warranty, I will need to see the device again to check the part for any damage or if it has been subject to liquid. Providing there is no damage, I am more than happy to swap the part out for you completely covered under your warranty.
FAQ - Is it just phones that you repair?
No. I fix all types of phones, tablets, laptops, pcs, consoles and smart watches. If you have something that doesn't fall under any of these categories, still drop me a message. I am more than happy to take a look at any electronic device and try my best to get it back up and running for you.
FAQ - Can a water damaged device be fixed?
Yes and no. It all depends on how much water there was, how long it was in the water and where the water has got to. I can do a liquid damage service for £15 to clear out any liquid that may still be in the device and clean any corrosion that may have formed. After this, I will be able to do a free diagnostics to see if anything else needs repairing.

Scam emails, texts and phone calls are becoming more popular each day and with this, are becoming harder to spot. Here are a few things to look out for if you believe that you have received a scam message.
Grammar - Check the spelling throughout the email, professional companies will not have any spelling mistakes within their emails.
Senders email address - Always check the address that sent you the email. Scam emails will usually have an address that is a random mix of numbers and letter or they will end in generic domains such as gmail, outlook, hotmail etc. No big company will use any of these domains.
Links / Attachments - If you think you have a scam email DO NOT open any links or attachments. This can lead to your device gaining viruses and your personal information being breached.

If you are unsure about an email or text message that you have received, then book an appointment and we will be able to help you determine if the email is a scam or not. You can also contact the original business that the email or text is claiming to be from. They will be able to tell you if it is them right away.
